Commentary

The slides display before and after versions of VisionWorks, a medical research image acquisition and analysis software, which includes image capture controls as well as quantitative analysis of DNA (1D), tumors in mice and rats (area density), and bacteria (colony counting).

Two variations of the software are shown: TOUCH (a subset of features for easy, single-touch controls for the research scientists) and full-featured DESKTOP version.

The AFTER images reflect the UX re-design I created with my team of developers and a graphic artist along with input from the client’s resident scientists.
